The Gaia Guide to Using VR in the Classroom

The Gaia Guide to Using VR in the Classroom

If you are considering use of VR in the classroom then download our free white paper today.

We have at our disposal a wide range of audio visual learning resources. Over time we have assimilated these into the classroom: from the first use of TV, to video tape recordings, to use of DVD players and now video on demand.

Virtual reality (VR) is a new immersive medium and educationalists will be asking three questions:

  1. What does VR add to the learning and teaching experience?
  2. How do we organise its use in the classroom?
  3. What impact will it have on learners?

The answers to the questions will be subject to a number of variables, choices that you make and your approach to teaching and learning.

In this short white Paper Gaia’s Head of Education, Bernard Dady, presents a simple overview   and guides  you through the things that you need to know  before  dipping your toes into the VR  pool. The paper precedes launch, later this year, of Gaia’s VR  apps .
